1 Bookings

  • Upon receipt of a booking, a confirmation letter and invoice will be sent if a place is available. Ensure that all sections of the form are filled. Quote reference numbers and invoice numbers in all correspondence.

  • Accommodation details and Pre-departure Guidelines normally sent approximately 2 weeks before arrival.

  • Bookings are not transferable i.e. they are specific to the dates, course and applicant as stated on the booking form.

2 Fees

All fees must be received at least 30 days before the commencement of the course. Proof of payment of fees must be sent to the school when fees are transferred.

3 Insurance

All students are responsible for their own health and travel insurance. Citizens of the EU, EEA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and Switzerland should obtain a European Health Insurance Card from their local Social Welfare office and bring it with them to Ireland. See the EHIC site for details.

4 Discipline

DCE reserves the right to terminate the course of any student who breaks the law or brings DCE into disrepute or presents a threat to others in the school. Students responsible for loss, injury or damage caused to property or individuals must meet any costs incurred. DCE also reserves the right to refuse a booking from any applicant.

5 Health

Any student who is undergoing ongoing medical treatment must provide a medical certificate with their application. Such participants should bring sufficient medicinal supplies. False, misleading or insufficient information regarding the health of a student may result in his/her course being terminated without refund.

6 Holidays

The office opening hours are Monday-Friday 09.00 - 17.00.

7 Cancellations and Changes     

Bookings may be cancelled up to two weeks prior to commencement of course without penalty (other than the non-refundable deposit). For cancellations received up to 14 days before commencement of course, 50% of the full amount will be refunded. There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced. This includes late arrival, early departure or days missed during the course. Bookings are not transferable i.e. they are specific to dates, course and applicant. DCE reserves the right to postpone or cancel any course without notice or change dates, prices and conditions on all published material.
