Dublin Cultural Experience
DCE is a new and exciting summer school, located in one of Dublin City’s most
beautiful suburbs, Terenure.
Terenure is only 4km away from the city centre, which is easily accessible by a short 20 minute bus ride. The area is well known for its tranquil nature and safety, as well as its expansive green areas and parks, including the infamous Bushy Park!
Students will attend their classes at Our Lady's secondary school, a beautiful and modern facility with well-maintained green areas where there are picnic tables for student use. There is also sports hall, with an exercise gym area, an astro-turf pitch, and Bushy Park is right next door for extracurricular activities.
Students will stay with experienced host families within the catchment area, and will be provided will full board accommodation.
DCE caters for teenagers between the ages of 12-17 years. The school has created a programme to help immerse students in Irish culture and lifestyle through interactive coursework, with a wide range of activities to put what they learn into practice every day.
The aim of DCE is to give each student a true cultural experience in Dublin!
